Put a penny in the tread of your tire. If you can't see Lincoln's head than the tread is good, so they say.

Might be, but the size difference looks pretty negligible to me.

I have noticed that the OEM tires don't last that long. My car had like 13,000 miles on it and the tires were bald by then. So i had to get 4 brand new tires. Supposedly the OEM tires last until about 25,000 miles and mine didn't.

I was kinda werid out by it. So i took it to the Toyota place and they said the tires weren't cover by warranty. But there was a brochure in my car that says that the tires are under warranty until 25000 miles. They kinda lied to me, so i took it to a Goodyear Tire specialist. They called the Goodyear up to try to get something for me. Well they were gonna give me like $50 back on each tire. so i used that $50 for some Toyo Spectrums, b/c the guy told me they were better than the Goodyear tires. "other fees" are expensive. Cuz i only paided like $50 overall for 4 tires. But the computer balance, waste tax, stem valve thing and this other thing made the whole bill like $150. It's not bad, but the "other fees" are really stupid.

Funny... I would have thought that the OEM "wear-like-iron, grip-like-teflon" rubber compound would have OEM tires lasting up thru the 50-60k mark. I replaced the OEM tires with Hakkapeliitta WR's early on. They wear like iron, but grip like glue (at least in the snow). I'll have to see what the summer brings.

If I were in the market for a OE sized tire, I think I would have to choose Bridgestone's RE950 (or something with similar performance).

I almost got a set of those Bridgestones. I decided to go with Michelin HydroEdge's instead.

The Bridgestones are grippy, but they have a shorter tread life and perform horribly in the snow... basically what you expect from a higher performance tire. I got the Michelins because they were better all-around tires. They have an amazing 85,000 mile warranty and are supposedly decent in the snow and amazingly great in the rain. They aren't quite as grippy and are only T speed rated, but my car isn't really set up to take advantage of higher performance tires and I won't be going that fast anyway. They're grippy enough... a lot better than the OEM Integrity's. And I got them in 205/60-15 (on stock wheels) so that helps a bit as well.

My Integrity's weren't worn yet. I'd put 9,000 miles on them and they were fine. They would've probably lasted me at least until 20,000. I just got tired of those skinny skids.

By the way, should I keep the same tire pressure on these even though they're wider?

I really don't understand the whole "grip" thing. I've always thought tires were tires. I guess tires aren't just tires. I like my Toyo tires. They were alot better than my old ones.

Yeah, cuz we all know that "Snuggle Bontanical Bliss" is the best. Werid thing was that snuggle came out with the scent Bontanical Bliss like a couple month ago, but i used to have the screen name "Botanical_Bliss" for the longest time. I used that screen name back in 2000. I thought it was kinda werid. Cuz i saw the fabric softener name at the store and was "Woah, i used to have that screen name!". Anyways. . .
