Patching holes and gouges in ABS

What can I use to patch holes and gouges in my ABS bumper?
I've got some decent gouges in a small spot from bumbing into someone, and holes left from when they mounted the license plate on the front.

    Thanks...

can't you use a body filler or something for that?

The factiory bumper is made of PP (Polypropylene) not ABS (Acrylonitrile Butadiene Styrene) plastic. The proper way to repair PP is either with a method called Plastic Welding or using a two part plastic epoxy filler. Body fillers such as Bondo will not stick to PP, that stuff is meant for metals and composites.

But it sounds like all you have is some really tiny gouges/holes.. they could possibly be filled in easily using glazing compound after you sand to the factory primer. This method should only be used on minor imperfections.

Thanks for the tech info! I think I will use the epoxy, but I'll check into the glazing compound.
