    Painting Wheels. Any tips?

Im about to spray my Integra mesh wheels black with a polished lip. Anyone out there have any useful tips? Is it necessary to use primer if im using dupli-color wheel paint?

Shoot...i just realized this should have gone in suspension.

I had white konigs and stripped the whole thing with paint stripper. I should have used aircraft or wtv that stuff is called. I just tapped off the lip, primed it like 2 coats and then painted it 2-3 coats then clear coated it like 2-3 coats. I have to reclear coat it every here n there to get them shinyer

listen man its all about your wallet...
i dont paint profesinaly but i do a bid for my friend he as a tunner shop any way i painted two sets and all i can tell you is yes prime it make shure its all the same color (when its not primed you might have spots that arent the same) any way and then paint like you whould any thing else
but here is the trick use a good clear a not cheap in a can one.... and clear it like 5-7 times i know it sounds like alot but wen you c the resolts youll be amazed
it give it a wet look and also makes tem stronger cause you know your bound to have rocks hit them
or you can always get them poweder coated but for that price just get a new set lol
