    Painting Alteeza Taillights

anybody have any experience taking apart alteeza tail lights. I have the chrome ones because i got a good deal for them but i rather have them black. i know they are pretty cheaply built and my other alternative is to just tint the whole thing but i'd rather paint the chrome part black. any suggestions?

i think thats a good idea, u might have trouble opening them tho just like the clear corners cuz its just plastic, u might end up cracking the plastic instead of opening the light.

I have blacked out my clear corner on my 00 before. You just need a dremel to cut it open. Patient is the key of doing this. After it's opened, masked off whatever you dont want to paint, then paint it. After that, you black silicone it seal them back together.

Any kind of paint should be fine. I used high temp engine paint when I did my corner.

I ordered some black alteza's made by JDM on ebay- they're freakin' nice! I slapped them on in a half hour. Only $118 to my door in 2 days! I've been lagging on downloading pics, they're coming soon- I'll try to get you some pics of the tail lights. If you need more info, p.m. me and I'll get you the product/seller info
