paintin stock corners

    paintin stock corners

    well since i already got the clear corners, i was thinkin bout paintin the stock ones i have. i want to paint them yellow, with high heat paint. or is there another kinda paint used for headlambs? and do i need to primer it first or what? and since im using high heat paint, will it peel off or fade away?
    i want yalls suggestions. thanks :)
    oh and, will i past the inspection if its painted?

    on my stock corners, i painted the whole thing black without primer or anything, and used regular spraypaint..but i dont suggest yellow..i think it'll look weird, but whatever you want, go for it..put some pics up also..

    since you can red out tails w/ regular candy apple red testers paint, i think clear corners would probably work w/ a similar testers color, you probably dont need high heat paint.

    i used testors gloss black for my corners and i used testors candy apple red on my tails

    oh cool cool. so just regular paint or testors heh? and no primer. ok
    and will i pass inspection with that painted? im in VA.

    where in VA? and are you trying to paint the outside of the corner or break it apart and do the housing?

    What type of painted effect are you going for? I have a 00 and I'd be interested to give the corners a slightly smoked effect...

    im in roanoke and the corners are broke apart. i dunno if i want to paint the inside or the outside, which part is the best?

    well probly ill use the testors candy apple paint. not sure yet, cuz i could find any hobby shop round my area. at least not know of.
    but is crylon a good paint?

    ok, new ideas just came up. after what i saw on vamps site. i wanna make my own angel eyes. with the stock corners i have, all i have to do is to make the rod to shape the housing of the corners. seems to be that easy. but ill wait and try. i dont wanna paint the corners anymore.

    and vamp, what kinda LED do i need? and what kinda resistors too?
