Wow! that must be depressing for the guy. But, heck if he has the money to afford this car, he can get a set of new one's. Plus, this is the reason why insurance is there for.

Not necessarily -- he's probably in debt.
That's like saying if I can afford a Corolla, I should be able to afford to replace 'xyz'. Doesn't always work that way..

and this is why i am glad i have a house with a garage. sure you can get in there if you try hard enough, but not without making enough noise that i'm up and in your face armed to the teeth. that and I have alarm sensors in my garage on top of the fact my car is always parked with the windows up, locked and alarm armed as well. (and i've got a security cam going as well, lol)

Modified allen wrench can get most wheels off without the wheel locks.

It would have to be a mighty long & thick allen wrench

True, depending on the lug nut depth....but its not impossible. Why would it have to be really long though?

The shop used an allen wrench to get my lugnuts off last week, because the key that I had was rounded off.

man I feel sorry for that guy, honestly, if you drive like a maniac and crash ur rice that's ur fault, comming out and finding ur car without wheels that's really raping you on some level....

yeah no wheel lock will help you, I hav a set on just to discourage ppl from doing something stupid but in reality you can get the damn thing off pretty fast.

If people want it bad enough, they'll take it.

They also have special round sockets you can buy from tool companies to remove any kind of wheel locks.
