Order of CF and Polyester Resin

I just recieved an e-mail that my order for 5.70oz x 20" width Carbon Fiber roll and 1 quart of Polyester Resin(Simlar 249) was shipped. Should be getting to me on the 20th. I plan on overlaying my JDM grill in CF, and accenting some other pieces of my ride. Just an update for anyone who remebers my post about looking for a place to buy real CF from.

By the way, total price was $42.29.

So where did you end up getting it from? I would love to purchase some CF for something I would like to overlay. Thanks for any help you can provide. Cant wait to see the grill!

Just got my CF and Resin in today. And man, let me tell you, CF weave is a beautiful thing. It's looks nice with out the clear coat of resin in it. Can't wait to get this little project started.

Sorry, just getting back to my computer guys. Yeah, the company is online, but I called them up instead. US Composites is the company that I ordered it from. The URL is http://www.shopmaninc.com/ They have everything you need, from Kevlar to CF to the Epoxy Resin and Polyester Resin. Check it out.

The catalog #'s for the stuff I ordered is
    FG-CFT5720 for the CF
    SM-S249025 for the Polyester Resin

    Their phone# is (561) 588-1001

Now that Christmas has passed, and I'm done celebrating my birthday, I can get underway with my project. I've had these pics for a good time now, and just now getting around to posting them. Here is the CF I ordered....

So, I've heard, but I'm not doing anything major, like making a hood. The tools for vaccum sealing will set you back about a grand or two, maybe more.
