yellow for hard core eletricals (sound systems) its for tunner cars
red for trucks as alot of cold cranking amps
blue marine use (for boats)

i have a yelow to best 260$ i ever spent love it i have 8 speakers on 2 amps a 5 farad capasitor and a 48002t for my 2 12 inche subs and a a4002t for my 10 inche in all i have 2000rms watts 4000 peek (all audiobahn ) and i can leave it on for like 1h without haveing the car runing i know it doesint sound like alot but my friend add the same set up only 2 amps, one sub and 4 speakers LESS and in 15 minuts is normal battery was shot and the alternater was burnet

point is optima yellow is crazy shit and well worth your money!!!!
