Engine Optima battery

    Optima battery

    will the optima red top battery fit in the 98-00 stock battery location or do I have to re-locate the battery to the trunk?

    It should fit but you will probably have to use the adaptor thing that comes with it. The battery just sits on top of it to make it higher. I just bought one for my 93 and thats the way it works, so I'm guessing its the same for a 98-00.

    I have two yellow tops, one under the hood and one in the trunk. The place I bought them from had to do a little work to get it to fit in the stock location under the hood but it was no big deal and fits just fine.
