ok... my turn to start plans for preparing my car!

    ok :D

time to fix my car is completed :D (i won't fix the exterior, since, a. I want a sleeper, b. not worth it..., c. you don't know where I live....)
chassis has been solid (before I got it in my hands it was in a collision, I know it was frontal)

and.... I fixed everything the car has had, minor maintainance slips previous owner did to the poor car

so I've started to read up and educate myself over serious mods and turbocharging...

    so...

I want a 1zz-FE or a stroked 2zz-ge, why stroked? because there's a lot of hills and I need a "torquey" low end so I don't have to be revving all the time in hills here... the other problem concerning the engine...

stroking a 2ZZ-GE, due to additional length of the of the stroke, would it be possible to hit the critical "lift engagement" rpm band, for long enough to make it usefull at all? cause obviously the redline will fall with the stroking.

the 1ZZ-FE can also be punched to 1.97L, same displacement the 2ZZ will reach with the stroking. I already have the 1zzfe :p
so... I'm leaning over the 1zz route, unless the diferrence is pretty big

and another thing will be the transmission, auto to manual, but I won't ask about that since..... there's a very comprenhensive thread about it. ;)
