Engine oil/radiator caps... r they useful?

    oil/radiator caps... r they useful?

    r they suppose to benefit the car? or r they just for styles?

    id say just pretty much for style. performance gains (if any) would be very minimal and not noticable on our cars.

    I think the radiator cap might help dont they? The TRD one suppose to raise the boiling point to cool the engine more efficiently. Oil cap, that's for looks. I love mine though. Definitely looks sharp.

    im getting a greddy radiator cap and a generic ebay oil cap, but am getting them just for the sole purpose of engine bay dressup.

    Oil Cap is all looks. All it dose is keep oil from flying out of the engine when its under preasure.

    Radiator Cap dose actually help help the cooling system run a little more efficiently. From what I understand it holds more preasure which helps circulate the coolant faster or something like that. Like what Tom said.
