low generally means it's one quart low.... fill it to the 'high" mark... should be around 4 quarts

3 Liters of oil?! LOL um that's 3 quarts!

    But top it off...

But just some advice, you dont have to take the drain plug out, just unscrew the oil filter off and turn on the car--the old oil will just come on out!

    LMFAO

FYI it's 4 quarts, none of this "fill it up to the line business". put in 4 quarts and that's it.

it's best to fill it up to the "full" line. normally, your car takes about 4 litres (4 bottles).
my 03 corolla takes about 4 bottles and a bit.
my van takes about 5 bottles and a bit

BE careful..too full and you'll have big problems- i fill mine to about 3/4 of the way from the full mark- basically- run you car till it gets warm, and the oil line with magically rise-sometimes alot! so be careful..and about the drain plug=thats how ive been doin it- let it drain completely, then pull out the filter, let that drain and put everything back on and fill up... i only use 3 quarts on my 96..sometimes a little bit more as the car warms up- best to check everytime you add...let hte car run for a minute, turn off, then check again..and repeat if necessary...

Well you can check the drivers manual that should say how much. But it seems you did it right, i usually let the car warm up till its warmed up then drive it around the block to listen to the engine just to make sure then i recheck the oil stick then i look under to make sure theres no oil dripping, other then that thats all i do.
