that's nothing... Our gas is sold by the litre here in Canada and it's at about 85¢ per litre right now...

that works out to approx 3.20 per gallon

    we're getting ass-raped up here

fineline are you sure about that on the conversion (canada here).
I worked it out yesterday at what the lowest price here was (92 cents/L) and it was around 2 something USD.
If your conversion is right, them I'm getting the worst here

hehe you noticed. yeah i didn't even realize chevron right up the block had cheaper gas. but still, this marks the fact that gas companies are raising the price to a point that's almost ridiculous.

i assume you're in l.a. area? why don't you come by ucla for a visit :D

you want ridiculous? 2 years ago gas was at most 59 cents here. then near the end of the summer, it was creeping up to 69.9, but no one touched 70 cents.
Right now, it's up to 93.6 cents at a station here.

lowest here in TN is $1.93. All we can hope for is the price per barrel of oil dosen't rise. If that rises, then gas will rise back up.
