i'm looking into some hp new lightning wheels for my car.The offset on them is 38, 5x100. Will that fit on my car? Also they are 18 inch and my car is dropped with tein springs. does anyone have a similiar setup and if so, how does it perfom?

A 5x100 wheel with 38mm will bolt up - fitment depends on wheel diameter and tire choice. A 38mm offset with a dropped suspension on anything larger than 16" will rub, unless you rolled the fender. The range of offsets that can be used are 35mm-45mm. 7" wide wheel (205 width tire) is the max that they recommend. I'd also recommend a 16 or 17 inch over a 18 - as they are really heavy (poor acceleration) and prone to damage from road hazards (pothole, etc).

the wheel width is 8 but if it's going to rub i'll try to get away from that and go with something smaller
