Offset for a TC

I know most of us on here don't have TC's. But does anyone know the rim offset. My girl just bought the Black Cherry Pearl TC. And that color looks bad ass with some gold wheels with a chrome lip. I want the lip to be as deep as possible, so what offset would fit and still be able to get a nice size lip to show off? I'm thinking 18x8.5 up front and 18x9.5 in the rear. If rims come in that size. I've seen one with 19x8.5 and 19x9.5, but I want one size smaller than that.

with 9.5 inch in the rear, you'll look like a lowrider, keep it under 8 inches

I've seen 9.5 in the rear, and it looks hella tight. Here are some examples...

I might go 8.5 all way around. Haven't decided yet.

I am having an awful time trying to find the right set of gold rims with chrome lip to fit the car. I'm thinking a bronze with a chrome lip will look good to with the black cherry pearl color. I guess what I need to do is take a pic, and get someone to start photo shopping it for me.

I'm having the worst time too man...every damn rim I like either comes in 4x100 or 5x114. Starting to get on my nerve.

Well, it looks like a gold rim with chrome lip (preferable 5 spoke) in size 18x8.5 or 18x9.0 with a 5x100 bolt pattern and at least a 35 offset....JUST DOES NOT EXIST!

Ok, it appears that the RacingHart CR's in size 18x7.5 come in 5x100 bolt pattern. I guess if that's all they come in, have to go with the smaller width. Would be nice to have 18x9.5 though. 19x8.5 also come in 5x100, but that's a little to big IMO.

No problem man...Yeah, the smaller the offset number means that the base where the wheel actually attaches to the hub is FURTHER from the outside of the wheel. Vice versa, the larger the number, the closer it is to the outside of the wheel.

    example....

    Small offset number

    Large offset number

everyone do seem to be going with 19x8.5 for the TC. I guess we will go that route too. 19's do look good tucked under. I guess they won't make that much of a difference when a turbo get's put in eventually.

from what I gathered on another tC forum..the basic offset is +35 but you can go as much as +45. This is what I read..not sure how true it is..but it is a stickied thread so I'm sure the info is correct.

The offset you wanna go with is between +30 and +40mm for the best look. I have 19X8.5" with +35mm offset and they fit perfect.
