    Obx Cai

    im gonna ask a question that no one has been able to answer b/f. Ok, i wanna really move up from my white trash PVC CAI (im worried about the heat,but it works very well), check it out here http://www.cardomain.com/id/dashista to a more professional-aluminum design...obviously, no company makes a CAI for 93-97 besides el-prototypes (which website isnt functional-i dont like to make long distance phone calls), UNTIL i discoverd an OBX CAI...has ANYONE SEEN THIS B/F AND WHAT IT LOOKS LIKE? streetstyler has em http://www.streetstyler.com/OBXColdAirIntakes.htm and tuning depot has em as well http://www.tuningdepot.com/departme...tegory=9&car=23

    Thanks for reading... :)

    OBX = trash.

    i think the only one who will disagree with me(of those of us who have had real experience with their stuff) is Damil.

    they also have horrible customer service if you try to get anything from them directly. Vamp's had a few situations where they've sent the wrong product or not bothered to tell him they were out of it.

    My philosophy is you get what you pay for. A CAI isn't a very complex part though, so unless it's made of PVC or some material that might melt, I wouldn't be too worried about buying one made by them.

    OBX is more than sufficient....i have OBX coilovers on my car...had an OBX muffler...waitin for an OBX short shifter. i got nothing against them. the quality of parts isn't an issue...it's just availability. they happen to list a lot of things that they don't make on a regular basis, so it takes a while. mistakes happen, tho...so i think that a few ppl just aren't happy with them for that reason.

    so with that....i disagree, laura....i'm with pedro on this one...obx isn't bad at all.

    well, im EXTREMELY happy with my obx exhaust http://vvti.net/forums/showthread.php?t=435 (check out photos there if you havent already), but I'm wonderin if this CAI they make will fit properly, and how would it go...like-would it go down to through the fender hole like my pvc? or would it somehow swerve around the battery, under it? I JUST really wanna know what it looks like- thanks!
