    ntldr is missing

for some stupid reason i formatted my master hd and installed windows xp on my slave hd. the slave has been setup as the master now and the pc boots up fine, but this hd could crap out at any time. so i switched everything back. now when i try to boot up the formatted drive i get a message that say's "ntldr is missing""press ctrl+alt+del to restart" so i do and i get the same thing. i looked this message up and i dont see anything that really pertains to me plus i dont understand most of it. does anybody know how to install this file/fix the problem?
    thanks
