    noob question

ok so i kinda fell asleep in the middle of posting this earlier bcuz ive been up for nearly 24 hours now....

but anyway i was driving to mcdonalds to get a jolt of premium roast iced coffee and i noticed...in 2nd and 3rd gear around 3500-5000 rpms it kinda jolts me back into my seat...and i was with my friend and we both kinda laughed bcuz *enter ricer* vtech just kicked in yo!!* anyway i was wondering why it does that there rather than anywhere else.

i came the the conclusion that thats where the majority of my power is..but since ive never seen a power graph of my chart i have really no clue. anyway just wondering wht causes it

No, its a four speed auto but even in a manual the majority of power wouldl be in the 2nd and 3rd. The 2nd gear on the 4 speed auto is longer so it would overlap on the 5 speed manual.

yeah, i was mainly asking bczu i was wondering if when u shifter from 1st-2nd than 2nd-3rd if you feel like your gear box cant handle fast shifts like that....ive driven an auto corolla before and i noticed like when u floored it it would shift rly smoothly for being floored...

yeah rollatuner i got 4 speed auto and 1st until 40 is good decent fast but when it changes to second it takes forever to get to 70 cuz its so long so i would say my first is the strongest haha

For acceleration I agree the first gear has power but for passing and downshifting, the 2nd gear is like "vtec just kicked in yo!" LOL
