Engine No boost....

No boost....

A few weeks back, I have been not getting any boost. I check all intercooler piping and all vaccum lines. There seems to be no leak, however I still don't see any boost.


Anyone have any ideas?

Well, I haven't check that out yet. The turbo does work because I can always heard it spool up. I'll check out the wastegate. Thanks.

Are you sure the Turbo unit is work?? May be your wastegate actuator or wastegate always open when turbo system work.

yeah that would be my guess your wastegate is either stuck open or bov stuck open for some reason. Check all the vacume piping....

All vacuum lines are okay, and I think the BOV is okay too. When I rev the engine, the BOV does close. So I think it is the wastegate. If I can't get it to work, I'm gonna ditch the wastegate, and go with a external setup.

Mines external wastegate.....I think internal wastegat suck ass.....

they dont suck ass.. they arent as good of course but there are a lot of good turbos with internal wastegates...

externals happen to be better ie they help get rid of boost spikes etc
