    nitrous upgrades

i just installed a stage one nitrous express kit on my 03 corolla S. what other upgrades should i consider to make it run better. i've heard a new fuel pump would help, but some tell me it's not necessary. i'm only running a 50 shot by the way and it's a wet kit.

    Nitrous upgrade

I've been using the nitrous express kit for over 1 yr. The stock fuel pump on the 1ZZ-FE can only support safely up to about 200Bhp. With power beyond that, u would need a high flow fuel pump & injector. U may also need to change to colder plug. It is also recommended to have ignition spark booster. With 50 shot, yr engine is running about 182bhp. If u have other mod like muffler, air filter, ignition, crank.... u should be reaching close to the limit of 200BHP.

As for me, i prefer to stay within this stage.

how about building the engine to handle over 200hp? That way you can run around 200hp all the time and not worry...just my .02

^holy sh!1, hookedup96rolla, what engine does your friend have? 275 at the crank?? and 236 at the wheels? hmmm...does it seem like there was a lot of drivetrain power loss? i'm surprise its not more like 250-ish at the wheels

drivetrain loss is usually around 15% atleast on a manual transmission so 275-.15*275=234 so 236 at the wheels sounds about right
