New Rotors for the Corolla

    New Rotors for the Corolla

    Ordered some Cross Drilled Rotors from KVR for my 02 Corolla, cause my old rotors are hell of warped. Just recieved them yesterday heres some pictures

    I heard KVR has some pretty good, and durable stuff. They also have a 6 month Crack warranty. I hope I don't have to use that warranty though. I will not be using this car on the Track just daily driving. I like the look that it has and has been dipped in like a Rust Resistant chemical which I got them in Black. I don't have time to install them now, but i wouldn't anyway cause its so damn cold. I will take pictures of Before and after and during the install. Please leave me some feedback of your opinion

    Nice rotors, but definitely overkill. Your brake pad wear is going to be poor. The rotor with it's drilled holes will eat them up, especially since it's for daily driving. it looks nice though. :D

    From what I've read, its better then going with Slotted, Slotted is suppose to eat them up quick. I'd say that Its worth the extra money just to have better Durability. We will see how fast they get eaten though

    I'm not knocking them .... They look good and as long as they work thats fine ..... But my question is .... Are they home made drilled rotors on a OEM rotor ??? Dont they come with slashes along with the holes ???? Where did ya buy them from ????

    No Not home made. I bought them from http://www.kvrperformance.com which by the way. All there Slotted Rotors are half off right now. Quality is excellent and the Customer Service was fantastic as well. I highly recommend this company.

    actually slots are designed to clean brake dust from the pad's braking surface as well as evacuate gases which are released under heavy braking from organic brake pads.

    I had brembo's drilled by KVR with more holes and they worked great for more than 2 years.

    I also was using OEM pads as the KVR carbon ones where too noisy.

    KVR does good quality stuff.

    BTW I was running Brembo Cross-drilled and slotted rotors for about 3 yrs and Ceramic Pads and I was not going thru a lot of pads. I think in 3 yrs I changed them once

    im getting them for the front and rear of my civic once spring time comes and i get my rear disk conversion

    yes, i highly recommend powerslot. Cryo treating is done with every piece of the engine, suspension and brakes in F1 but I'm not sure if I can justify the cost for a dd.
