Looks nice. Any pointers on taking out the A pillar (ie how is it attached?)
Have to take mine off (driver side) for my new A pillar/gauge pods.

Yeah, I would suggest starting at the point above your head, and just kinda do a twist and pull manuver. Once you get that undone, start working you way down. However, when you start getting to the wider part that's connected into the dash, you have to pull slide it up out of the dash. Do not pull it across the dash, but pull it towards the ceiling.

Oh, by the way, make sure you twist and pull towards the inside of the car. Therefore, you need to be sitting in the car and twist and pull towards you.

How do you manage to use the storage bin with the manual? I bought a storage bin off ebay, but it gets in the way of shifting.

I'm not sure what you mean by storage bin. Are you talking about the one in between the seats or are you talking about the one in the center console? To answer your question, nothing gets in the way. I shift hard and fast, like I stole it....lol...

If you all want more examples on how this can change the appearance of your interior, i did this same thing about 14 months ago. From the pillar up used to be tan.[IMG]

I was talking about the one between the seats. I bought one, but its too fucking big. I'm thinking about cutting it in half so it won't block my elbow.

Oh..well, it dosen't seem to bother me any. I usually hold my elbow high when shifting, and then rest it on the box in between shifts.

DO IT! It's not that hard and well worth it. Take your time and follow directions. You can even put your own designs in it with contour foam. I'm still not fond of fabric paint. I'm sure that will mess up the adhesive and make the headliner sag quicker.

If you are going to do something you might as well do it right.

theres 2 types of storage bins:: one for manual and one for automatic.

the manual one is like 4-5 inches shorter than teh auto one. it's very nice.

looks nice.. I haven't has a very good experience w/ duplicolor vinyl paint on plastic trim but you should be fine since you used adhesion promoter.

I did my headliner black a couplemonths ago.. I origionally sprayed it with vinyl/ paint but that didn't turn out very well. I ended up reuphostering it with a suede-like material.

One thing to take note on....do NOT! use alcohol to clean the door handle. This will make your door handle have cracks in it. I haven't done my passenger side door yet. I have done the drivers side. But I have to get a new door handle for the driver door, because the alcohol dried out the plastic, and cracked it.
