Looks great, I always liked your car on TN! I think those wheels are perfect for that color. And thanks for putting on fog lights..... they really make the front end look 100 times better.

haha guys, thanks for all the compliment first of all !!

speaking of camera angle. Photogrpahy is one of my biggest interest, and i believe other than skills, it is a lot of trial and error, and really subject to people lol , thanks for all the likes again, i just feel like it will look nice lol.

Yeah, fog really makes the 01 front looks better, i was wonder why toyota dont list this as a option on LE, i bet a lot of people want it lol. But thank god for prewiring, i just need a new signal stick and relay, and order a set of foglight form Amazon ( it comes with bulbs, those blue coated one around 3000k i think).

Speaking of Rear disk conversion, i am not sure do i have more pic, because it is a long process to get it done, me and my dad start working at 11am and finished till 8pm on a saturday, and everytime we double checked everything, as brakes is very important ( u dont want to have no brakes , right?) What kind of pics you guys still want to see, just let me know, i can search my computer to see do i have it.

Having rear disk, the good thing is your handbrake will be tighter for instant, and the braking power more equally distributed.

I kind of like the wheels color, i admit, originally i want to paint it gold like those on Subaru Impreza.

Once again, thanks for all likes, warm welcome. good to know you all :)

haha, man, lowered car just isn't my thing. especially Hawaii vehicles inspection is a bitch . i just try to make a totally road legal car and looks great at the same time. ( thats why i call it humble and personality)

plus, i need to use it for daily, and theres quite a lot of speed bumps at where i live lol ( need to park at parking garage and my condo's parking lot)

p.s u can do a lot of mods in HI (Exhuast, intake, bodykit, spolier, rims and tires, engine swap with same cylinder number.....) , but suspension mod ( lower or lift) will require you to get a special permit, special inspection in order to be legal, which is a bitch

So motor swaps are easier to legalize than suspension mods? That's crazy!

It isnt make sense too in my opinion and maybe little crazy, i dont mind to do inspection if i swap motors, turbocharged/supercharged.....drum to disk brake ..., because it completely change the performance of the car. I dont know why they care so much about supension mod than others lol .

CA have strict law on emission ( smog test), but hey, at least u guys doing mods are more easy and less worry right ? at least nothing stupid like here.
If i want 3sge for my car, i can swap it tomorrow for without any problem even in inspection. but just that my car will never be able to pass smog in CA ( If i ship em there)

btw, Auto to Manual swap are allow too ( as far as your car have Manual option, just like our car)
p.s: do Corolla LE ever come with Manual trnasmission, havent seen one yet.

many engine choices yet some cant be done....if you want a legal engine swap in cali it has to be from a newer or same year vehicle and that engine had to be offered in CALI to be a legal swap.

No later gen 3s, no later gen 4a just a bunch of tarter sauce.

Yeah, so actually the reasonable engine legal to swap in CA for our car is 2zzge?

but i mean like regular mod, it is more easy right

Yea i say a 2ZZ but you gotta make it a decent looking swap, no hack wiring or any of that back yard bs....gotta make it look factory under the hood

regular mods, lowering, suspension and breaking....all those little things yea anyone can do, its a bit on the 50/50 side on exhaust work....just recently i got pulled over for my TRD exhaust and thats a legal muffler :noidea:
