New HU and now radio barely works

    New HU and now radio barely works

    I installed my new headunit and now my radio reception sucks. Did I miss something? Is there a wire or plug that needs to be installed from the stock wiring or antenna? I used all the wires in the harness, but can't seem to figure it out.

    It's a plug.. black wire with a silver connector on it. Its sort of a bullet shaped plug.. it is not a part of the wiring harness.

    Yup, that was it. Its no wonder I didn't see it though, the thing has no slack and must have come off when I pulled out the old hu. I had to buy an extension cord just to connect it cause the jack was on the other side of my new hu. Oh well, at least it works now.
