    new clutch

i just put in a new clutch into my 98. its supposed to be 30% stiffer than OEM. the pedal feels lighter than before i replaced it. The car drives fine and it hasnt been slipping even when i jump the clutch at 4k starting out. the mechanic said that he simply lubed up the pedal assembly. what could it be? air in the system? improper installation? or did he really just apply some oil to the pedal?

alright. i figured it out. i think the mechanic didnt bleed my clutch. probably because i brought him my own parts vs using OEM so he didnt give a warranty on the repairs. i'll bleed it and see if it improves. do u guys think i should contact the bbb?
