The best way would be to run it from power, to a switch on the interior, and then from that to the neons. That way you can choose to have them on and off whenever you want. I would hook it up to an accessory line if possible (not sure if that will put too much load on one circuit) so that you dont turn off the car and forget to turn off the lights as well.

wire to your parking light circuit (it's teh green wire in the harness) and put an extra switch inline so you can shut em off when desired.

Any Diagrams of how it would look? I'm a visual person. hahaha. Thanks for your replies. I will try it. So do I hook up the Neon wires (two wires) to the switch? and the switch wire to the Cig lighter? Does that sound right?

    Neon Hookup Help

I bought some Interior Neons for my 05 corolla LE and I wanted to know what would be the best way to hook them up so it only runs at night and not in the day. Possibly when I turn on my lights? parking lights? I dunno. Can anyone help me please. Thanks.

I have my neons hooked up to a seperate switch under the dash. All thats done is its a wire going to a fuse, make sure it isnt a major fuse ur hooking it up to just incase it blows, then hook up a ground wire also, and then just hook the neons up to the switch also. You can find a switch at AutoZone. U can get rocker switches and everythign just w/e floats ur boat. Hope it works out for you

My recommendation is wire it up on a separate switch so that if you ever got pulled over, you can turn it off before you get busted for those aswell.

The best way to do it. I wired my switch up inside my center console so even if there is suspicion the cop will never find my switch.

But yeah, I'd say running a seperate switch is definetly the best idea. For Silver's reason as well as the fact they are incredibly accesible with a switch of their own.
