    need struts asap

My sister's car failed inspection and she wants me to replace her struts because she can't afford a mechanic...she needs the front two ('98 Prizm).

I found Monroe Sensa-Tracs on Amazon with 2 day shipping (Prime FTW), but reviews are pretty ehhh. She's not a car person and it just needs to be fixed, so am I going to find anything cheaper than that, at $145.90/pair? KYB's are $65/ea but we don't have time to wait for them to get here..so I'm pretty much stuck with Sensatracs from Amazon, or something from NAPA/Autozone/etc.

    KYBs are better...

atleast I've had my GR2s for 2 and a half years and they still feel the same as the day I mounted them...

but if she needs something asap...
you're pretty much screwed for what you can get

Yeah..I know - I'm just not sure I will be able to get them in time (without paying way more than she can afford). Plus, she is only doing two - and two KYB / two 127k stock would be pretty meh. :(

She should have planned this better...but she doesn't.

Gabriel Ultras at Autozone for $61.99/ea with lifetime warranty. May just go with those...easier to deal with for warranty replacement if necessary.

u cant go wrong with lifetime warranty, but thats only if something goes wrong with the struts that is not normal besides normal wear.. then no, they wont replace it..

Autozone has never given me a hard time about returning stuff - 'it's broken, gimme new one' usually works. :p
