    Need Real Advice!!

I did my tire rotation today, and when putting bolts back on, one of them would no longer fit its designated spot. I tried oiling them but it seemed like it was the actual part (not the bolt) that was now refusing to have the bolt screw back on.

When i got started on the other side, i had the same problem only it was tightening effort, It eventually snapped. The lug with the nut snapped. So i only have 3 LUGGS now. I have no idea how much it will cost and i am on such a tight budget. U think its safe driving with it like that for a while. It makes no noise and is rather smooth. No wobbling.

Both rear wheels now have only 3 bolts holding them in place, each is securely fastened though. Holding the wheel in place.

Wheel studs? Replace them. It only cost less than $2 at Autozone, Kragen, Pepboys.

no, but you'll need a new set of lugs if the stud broke off inside the nut
