    Need new headliner

Folks I just burnt up my headliner with a ciggarette a few days ago. :x I was changing a CD from my sunvisor cd magazine and I was dumb enough to hold a cigarette during the process. I put two black burn marks about three inches from the left side of where the liner begins. My liner is grey and I want a black one for replacement. How much would an OEM cost compared to getting a custom liner work done by a shop? Even though the marks are small, they are a constant reminder of my mistake and I need them repaired.
    Thanx for your help

This one's actually pretty easy. Go to Pep Boys, they sell rolls of replacement headliner material. It's pretty nice stuff too, and not very expensive.

You'll also need a can of the spray glue to use with it. It's made by the same company, but not included with the headliner itself (?).

Take the existing liner down, peel the material off, then follow the directions on the new kit. I jsut did it to my winter beater car, I'd never done it before. Only took about two hours, and it looks better than factory! Costs maybe 30 bucks total.

Only bear part was that spray glue is INCREDIBLY sticky, and dries VERY fast. In other words, don't go pee with it on your hands, or you're gonna have an embarassing ride to the emergency room.

Thanks for the headz up. LOL  That would be hilarious. Do you know how difficult it would be to remove the headliner from our new corollas?

Haven't had to do it yet on this car, but was looking around in it. Doesn't look too awful difficult, all the trim would have to come off, and I know that's pretty easy, it just pops off.
