need info on the type s engine & the xrs

yo , dose anyone know wut is the different between the S 1.8L and the XRS 1.8L? and y they both don't have the same hp and turq?

different engines. the CE through S models have the 1.8l 1zzfe engine and te xrs has a 1.8l 2zzge engine found in the celcia gts and matrx xrs.

pepole are going to get all anal about you calling it "type s" because that would be naming the car a honda model. whatever. yep.

type S would usually refer to something with V-TAK!!!!!!

nope, different engine.

the CE, LE, and S have a 1zz-fe engine. similar block, waaaaaay different head.

the XRS has a 2zz-ge. more aggressive cams, lift, higher compression ratio, etc. can't convert unless u do a complete engine swap.

well..the 1zz-fe is like 120ish hps..and the 2zz-ge is like 170ish hps..if you want a 1zz to have 170, you should just do the TRD SC..it would be much more worth it to have the xrs, 170hp, 6 speed, compared to your rolla S which is like 120hp with a 5speed if you have one..

but then again, money is a factor, xrs is almost 10k more than the S..and with that 10k, you can get a SC with many other things..it's all up to you

if you have money, sell the S and get a XRS, that's the easy way out of it..
