    Need Help!

Ok I know this topic has been discussed god knows how many times cuz I've read all the posts on it but I have a question about removing my side moldings. I read that I need my blow dryer, some fishing line or a credit card, goo gone and then wax the car to give it shine but I read on one forum don't remember which it was..that some guy took his off and there was a difference in color between the door and the spot where the moldings used to be...I got my car in June 2002 and it was assembled in Japan...don't know if that affects anything, but do you think there would be a difference in color? Has this happened to anyone else? Also, is there any chance goo gone will mess up my paint? Thanks for any advice you guys could offer!!!

the reason the color would be differnet would be because of the sun. the paint that is exposed to the sun starts to fade out after a while. So if you take off your moldings now their may be a color difference. You could always try taking off one of your emblems in the back to see if their is a color difference and if not you could just get a new one and stick it back on
