Engine need help

    need help

    ok i need to know if there are any engines that will swap with the 1ZZ-FE because i thought about swappin my 03 1ZZ with and H22 or sumthin like that. any help will be appreciated.

    All he would need is some Vtec badges and then he can post on both Honda AND Toyota boards. He could call it a TOY-HO PRE-OLLA.

    There are not a lot of people doing engine swaps for the Corollas, so there is not a lot of info on swaps other than the obious 2ZZ-GE or the Jspec engine swap that supershyguy did. If you really want to do something as crazy as trying to make a honda engine work in a Corolla, then just try putting a 2JZ-GTE in it (at least it is a Toyota engine, prolly the best one ever made), or go crazy an put a RENESIS or LT1 engine in. All these swaps would be about as easy as swapping in an H22

    yeah, if your wanting to go through a lot of trouble by putting in a honda engine, you might as well do what mncrolln says and do a 2jz-gte engine.
