need help with toyota audio system

    need help with toyota audio system

    hey guys im new here, and i have a toyota corolla 2007 s model. it has the bn17008 model audio system. I was think of attaching an aux in to it. is it possible to maybe take the system out and attach inputs directly to it or do i have to get another system or extra hardware PLZ IM GETTIN REALLY MAD LISTENING TO MY AUDIO CDs i want to connect my ipod to it. and i dont mind using the 1/8" cables either any help would be greatly appreciated :D

    I believe that you can buy an Ipod adapter cabel for it.. I am at a loss to find my stock sterio as on right now but I think it plugs in to where the multi cd changer would hook to and tricks your sterio in to thinking that it has a cd changer hooked up to it...

    thanx dude but do u know where i can get this cable? i was thinking mayb circuit city since they usually have stuff like that

    thnx guys, but now i wann try and do diy subwoofer system.. is this a good idea for a brand nu corolla?

    You can do whatever you want to the car. if its your first DIY then just take extra time to read over a DIY and take your time installing things. If you're not confident on doing it, then let a shop do it.
