    NEED HELP: popping in the driveaxles

    is there anyone in the DC-Metro area who is good at getting the driveaxles into the tranny?

    otherwise, does anyone have any tips?

    They don't budge.

    anyone from the DC-Metro area PM me I need to get this in ASAP as in tomorrow(later today since it's midnight now).

    A rubber mallet helps. Once the splines are lined up, you just have to force it in there. It's just a snap ring on the end of the halfshaft that's keeping it from going in and holds it in place once it is in.

    becareful that you don't force it as you can screw up the splines
