Engine need help... 95 rolla tranny problem...

need help... 95 rolla tranny problem...

my 95 rolla 3 speed auto... this morning woke up start the car drive to skool i notice my car is not shift into first when accelerating at a complete stop... all the way to skool the car is running in 2nd and 3rd... when i got skool stop the car open my hood see check if there is any leak... none... then went to start the car drive around the block now its stuck in first .... when i drive home it starts off in first and stuck in first for a while then its back to normal shifting... need help...

my friend said it's the torque converter...
