Need advice quick on my engine

So I am driving home from work and I see my oil light blink a few times and then I see it pop up and stay on . I am about 5 blocks from my house when the car cuts off. I get out to check on it and guess what the oil drain plug is gone and all the oil with it. I get a replacement plug and refill the oil but now the car doesn't want to start. It turn over so I know the engine is not ceased and it acts like it want to start but can't quite make it. A passerby heard it and said something about a relay cooling down or needing to be replaced. What can I do now? Please help me!

    Update
Well heres whats new, I have learned two things the first is that I have no piston or bottom end damage. Everyone at toyota thinks I am crazy because they cannot believe the oil plug came out like that. Secondly I did find that my cam pin is sheared (toyota saying that this is indicative of someone overreving the engine). They said they have seen this before on cars that have the "toys" that I have on it at the moment and I am thinking to myself it is a freakin' automatic wtf can I do with it I do not street race and have never taken it to a track (b/c its an auto). But anyways their technicians have only found the cam pin issue so far and they are checking the valves at the moment. Does anyone here know how much damage can result from the cam pin shearing? And I have finally come to grips with the fact that someone did fuck with my drain plug ( this is pretty sick though)!

I think you engine is fryed bro once your oil light comes on and stays on its too late. I bet your rings are fryed and you dont have enough compression to start up now.

    Sad day for the rolla

Well after trouble shooting til my head hurt this morning I gave up and called the dealer to come and pick it up. They told me that it could be a number of things ( as usual). But she did say that the newer corollas do have a system that when the oil pressure drops the engine will cut off before major damage is done ( some of you may have already knew that). But their is a twist to this story, a few of my friends believe someone on base may have loosened the drain plug because the car has not had an oil change since the end of Feburary and I took it up to Maryland! Maybe this is just one of those random events I can't control in life and I got to deal with it I guess. The only messed up part is I have to Cuba for a week and a half on saturday. I will keep everyone posted.

So, when the oil pressure goes low enough to turn the dummy light on, the engine will automatically shut off???

    That's interesting....I had no idea.

Well here is the final prognosis, first thing the head is not gone but I have four bent valves, one broken camshaft, one sheared cam pin, and one damaged valve cover gasket. Apparently when the oil pressure dropped the engine got really over heated (of course!) and before the car cut off the the top of the valve cover sleeve bent and broke off from the heat causing the camshaft to stop spinning, snapped, and locking the valves out far enough to wear the #1 piston banged them and bent them
eventually leading to the cam pin to shear off. Toyota wants $2,800.00 I told them to go pound sand because I am getting it done for $500.00. So there you have it moral of the story "ALWAYS CHECK YOUR DRAIN PLUG". I hope my story saves someone elses ride.

Wow that sucks man, yea on the 01-02 Corolla the oil light comes on at like 5 PSI, which is a reason why a oil pressure gauge is a must

Whoever you pissed off lately really took it to ya. Drain plugs dont fall out. You might want to find the guy and give him a nose job w/ a baseball bat. Or at least make his drain plug "fall out".
