I personally LOVE 4runners, that one looks great but how many miles are on it? If its over 150k the price is a little high. My best friend bought a used 4runner forgot what year, i think a 96? Had no problems whatsoever. I think the main things are to check the exhaust for smoke, leaks, and rust and make sure the engine shifts smoothly.

It also looks to be sagging a little in the rear so you might need to replace the shocks, struts.

i think 2500 is too much for a car that old. regardless of the condition...its 20yrs old. 2000 sounds like a fair price.
