My voltage dropped after disabling DLR....??

SO i followed vamp's guide which was very nice and exact and my day time's are not working anymore like they should....

But on my capacitor for my amp my voltage went from 14.4ish where it regulary is to 13.89 tops when the car is on.... But when the car is off its still the regular 12.7 volts.... any advice? or comments?

That sounds very odd, as disabling the DRL should not affect the voltage in anyway. I think it might be a coincidence. Double check your voltage output with a multimeter and check to make sure no power or ground wires are loose or corroded.

I have a voltmeter in my car, It seems if there is no or not as much of a load the voltage drops down (maybe to keep from overcharging ?) Since you lowered the current demand the voltage may drop normally. It appears as if it is still charging though.

idk but it does seem odd..... Maybe my alternator is now doing less work thus pushing less volts?
