    my 'rollas got the shakes...

I've noticed once my car is warmed up if I'm at a stop for a long time (long light, stop and go traffic, whatever; I keep the car in neutral with the clutch out when stopped) it will eventually drop the rpms so low that the car actually starts to shake a bit. What's up with that? Is that normal?

well it could be nothing or something. I say take it to a mechanic that will put it under a computer for free. There is a lot of places that will do that or charge a very small fee.

    My 03' did that.

that is nothing. question, were you running your a/c at the time? or just had the fans on?
i noticed that in my corolla the same thing happens where the rpms will fluctuate. even when your car is just sitting there it might fluctuate. this is because your fans that cool the engine turn on. you have to understand our car has a small engine and it has a lot of power running through it so in order for it to use power for one thing it needs to take power away from other things. its normal i wouldnt lose sleep over it

I regrounded my engine this weekend with 4 gauge battery wires from the autoparts store and the "RPM idle search" on the car is literally gone...
