My new project. 6x9 speakers on the back....

I'm thinking about starting a project on my rolla. Taking out my subs and making my rear speakers on my 2000 rolla 6x9's. That would require some modding and such. Does anyone nkow anyone who did that on their rolla?

Any advice or anything?

I'm tired of the amount of trunk space i lost and the weight of the stuff

are you talking about putting 6X9's in the back deck area behind the headrests? if so i've done it. I basically cut through a lay of pressed paper/wood and a layer of metal. I did all this using a dremel tool with cut off discs. The speakers have to be slightly slanted also in order to fit. If you want i can take soem pics to show you how it looks like. It looks pretty good imo.

Ya like where the 6.5's are right now i want to take them out and if possible make the whole bigger and put 6x9's in there in place of the 6.5's now.
