My Home Depot Front Lip! *EDITED W/ PAINT IDEA*

*LOOK AT POST 10 FOR PAINT IDEA!*

    Just kidding. LOL!
Not sure how many of you will actually be interested in the thread, but here it goes. Anyways I finally got a day off to do some work to the TOMS front bumper. The fit from the start was ALMOST spot on, just need some sanding in some areas to get it to slide back into place a bit. The pics Im posting, all the lights and the bumper are just sitting there, so pay no attention to small gaps or if they are angled funny. We still have to do a little bit of fiberglassing to fabricate some of the mounting holes for the screws, not that big of a deal. Oh yeah, the bumper is also primered flat black right now instead of "Notice Me White":p Other than that, we should be moving to the rear and sides and then Ill send it off to paint with a little bit of custom body work too! New headlights have been ordered to because of yellowing in one of my corner lights:mad: Any question, comments, concerns are welcomed:cool: Here are the pics:

I think you should two tone it, black on the skirts and bumpers and red for the rest of the car. But I just like crazy shit like that :D

What do you guys think of this? The bottom lip being painted black. I think Im gonna paint it like this. It gives it a little bit more stock look, but still agressive. Dont mind the quick photochop job:p

it'll work at long as the lip is lower than your sideskirts.. If not, your sideskirts would look lower than your front lip and you'll look like a damn fool.

IMHO, side mounted plates is to show off intercoolers, i kinda look at the honda guys funny when they do that to their non-turboed non-intercooled cars, if you really want to mis-place the plate, i recommend it inside the car by the windshield like your first pic, car is looking good, just missing the matching paint :thumb:

oh yeah, and the problem i had with my jdm headlights was that when it rains, water would get inside and fog up :thumbsdow

side mount plates is not necessarily for intercoolers. it's also so you can open up room for the radiator to breathe. but it's a funny thing to think of because early 90's dodge caravan had side mounte plate :p
