tein basic i believe is not adjustable dampening. so it should cost around 700 bucks which is a bout same price of a strut spring setup. if you want a little more adjustability, go with tein superstreet. but if you're not doing any kind of motorsport, i wouldn't recommend getting it. it wouldn't be worth the money if it isn't put to use.

Yeah Im looking for a simple setup that won't compromise the ride comfort. Plus my girl doesn't wanna worry about her driving... I figure Tein Basics would be the answer. Are there any other spring/strut combinations close or better than stock comfort?

Aren't the KYBs a stock replacement? If I use them... won't the struts blow out?

The kyb you might wanna use are the GR-2. those are a little stiffer but still pretty comfy. i used to have tein s-tech springs on stock struts and they worked just fine. if you go with gr2+stech, it'll be fine for everyday driving. if you decide to get tokico, get h-tech springs. tokicos are shorter than kyb.

Eibach & KYB would feel closer to stock comfortwise.

What does anybody think of the Eibach Sportlines on stock struts?
Considering putting 18's. Don't want to harsh of ride.
