    Well here it is..

    Car completely locked up one day in an intersection. wouldnt go into gear or even roll en neutral.

    Dont know how it happend but I guess I blew a hole right through the differential. Getting a new tranny put in this week.

    Lol car is in the shop right now (my work) getting a used tranny put in until summertime when i save up enough for a manual swap. 67,000 mile tranny for 300 i guess isnt too bad but hell maybe ill go a lil easier on this one. Most of the damage is from the previous owner who liked to do reverse doughnuts. I guess when i called work they told me that everything in the tranny spun so fast it all basiclly shattered and they said that differential was what put the hole in there.. Oops

    I paid 250 for a manual tranny (less than 40k miles on it).. trying to sell my old auto on craigslist for 200 ever since.. no bites yet.

    i'm guessing you guys install it yourself thats why its so cheap, at the shop they charge like 800-1000 bucks for the parts and the labor.

    tranny swaps arn't hard to do so yea.. expect a shop to charge you about 6-8hrs of labor on top of that.

    We got Bored at work one day and decided to take the tranny apart to see the full extent of the damage and couldnt believe what we saw..
