...I'm not trying to sound like a prick here...but you were all worried about weight and dumping as much weight as possible and you've got 3 subs in a sealed box in the back?

If you want color in the interior...you ought to upholster it instead of paint.

But so far, it's fine...you gotta start somewhere!

    Hey I have a question,

I am kinda worried about the interior painting I did It looks awesome but it kinda scratches easy, Did I prep the parts right? What I did was use steel wool to smooth down existing scratches, then I rubbed a scotch Brite pad on the parts and washed the parts and wiped them dry and then waited about 10 minutes, then I painted them with 3-4 coats of Duplicolors fabric and vinyl Spaypaint, If I did it wrong is there a way to remove the paint and can you tell me how to do it the right way please? Thanks!!!

I waited about 30 minutes for each coat

i love the wheels, man. you should red out the amber on your tails. and lower it!

about the paint chipping, a clear coat sounds like a good idea. try it out and let us know.

Testors candy apple red model paint... pull of the lights and tape off anything that you don't want painted... and paint away... put on about 5 coats letting set about 45 minutes between coats. I would also suggest a bunch of layers of the testors clear too

    1000 watt sub?

...just out of curiosity, are you building up the rest of your system too? If you aren't doing proper cross-overs, seperates for all your speakers and the tuning...a 1000 watt sub is way over-powered. I had component Eclipses in my Grand Prix...with a 200 watt amp. 6x9's in the rear, 6x4's in the front...and a pair of Sony Xplod 10" subs with a Rockford 650 punch...my subs were stil capable of over-powering my speakers.
