Apply at a fine dining restaurant as a server or buser. They make good money, and they also get paid everyday.

what skills do you have? this field is pretty busy if you can get into it, and there's usually a lot of traveling opportunities available if you get into the right companies. generally this is freelance(which allows you to work for multiple companies at once), but it pays decently enough depending on what you do. Mike(my other half) is currently in Indiana helping to build a theater - he's a rigger by trade, though he welds and does some lighting work, on top of the fact that he's a pro stagehand.

PM me about this - i can ask Mike to help you out when he's online tonight.

it's NEVER quiet backstage...maybe in school plays and shizz, but in bigger productions there's always stuff going on backstage.

as an apprentice, he wouldn't make too much money. probably more than retail, but it still wouldn't be a ton. it's a good idea of he intends to make that his career, though.
