will work for both motors. it really has nothing to do with the valvetrain as long as you get the right kind of pistons. i was thinking about it, but seriously it's too fuckin expensive to mod this motor, just get a good motor or a good car to begin with.

Yeh I want to do it myself....but for 800 and then probaly another grand or grand and a half to get it installed and bored.....not worth it. You'd use more gas too.

that kit is for people who are gonna go hardcore with the engine. If you're already going to replace pistons/rods down the road for forged goodies (to run high boost for example), why not buy the 2.0L kit that includes 2.0L pistons?

I know , 800 isn't that much money, I only have to save up about 300 more dollars and I'll buy it.

So you're going to raise the compression on the engines before you boost them? Then boost higher? Can anyone explain the logic to me. Boosting an NA engine is already stressing it, but that's a whole new level there.

Does anyone know the stock bore and stroke for the 1ZZFE?

No I am going to get another engine, do the Big Bore Kit in which they sleeve your engine then put the turbo on then put the whole thing in my car.

I only plan to run between 8-10 psi normal and crank it up for the track or some smart aleck driver

Yea I am in the process of saving the money then start getting the parts. Most expensive is the engine and tranny. I have a place to store and work on this.
And I have a garage that said they will do the block boring and sleeving.

Money is just my slow point

Stock bore and stroke for 1ZZFE 79mm and 91.5mm respectively.

I've got the MWR forged pistons and Crower rods in mine.
