it should, but if you're going to spend that amount of money why don't you just buy a fidanza or smilair aftermarket if weights' a factor.

yea i will definitely get a flywheel along with it, but a clutch and a flywheel are not the same thing!

well dont take this as 100% true but Im 95% sure that a mrs celica gt and corlla use the same clutch because they have the same tranny and same flywheel....

Also I purchased a celica gt clutch and it worked fine for me...

from what i understand about 95% of all parts of the 1zze and some of the 2zzge are interchangable TO A CERTAIN EXTENT. don't attack me yet i will ask my friend later today. its 0100 right now.

clutch and flywheel are interchangable between corolla, matrix, celica, mr-s. i've checked part numbers between the cars and they're same.

I believe the clutch also works with the 7a-fe engines. i guess its because of same displacement.

whatever flywheel you get, just get the clutch kit that goes with it..... this is a common thing on 4age's as well... there were (i think) 4 different sizes..... for the most part, all fit in any of the trannies (except for the gze setup in ae86's and c series trannies) as long as you have the components that go with the flywheel you have.

the bolt pattern should be the same, so if you get a spyder flywheel you should be just fine with a spyder clutch setup. You would need the diamter dimensions of the spyders clutch to know if it would work in your setup. You should just be able to call any parts store & they should be able to tell you the size & number of teeth
