What about getting a returned lease car or recent used car (1-2 yrs old).

Then you don't have the new car depreciation right off. You may be able to get more car for the same amount.

How about a pre-owned lexus? GS, is sporty and luxurious.

pre-owned beemer or benz, the downside to those though will be future repairs. Parts are outrageous for those.

The lincoln LS V8 sport has been reviewed as being a very sporty car, but they have gotten bad reviews for reliability. And reliaibility is something you would like to retain.

With most used luxury cars, they would not have been driven hard.

yes, a used car can also be my consideration. i think the GS is auto only? beemer and benz parts are expensive like you said (same with lexus). plus i have few friends that have beemer and they have nothing but problems. i'm only 24, Lincoln... err... like for old people who likes Buick and stuff. i still want a young people car. ^^

thx for replying though, i really appreciated.

The Lincoln LS isn't for old people though, go take a look at it... 3.9 Liter V8... 280hp... only automtic though... but you could get the 3.0 V6 (220hp) with a 5 speed manual int he first year or two... very nice cars, nice interiors (imo) and suppose to be a nice handling car too...

    mid-level sedan?

I've had my 03 Sentra SE-R Spec V for a year and half now. Love the car but I want something bigger (interior space) and a little more luxury. Spec V is a lot of fun, but I started having tranny problems and started to dislike the sunburst yellow color. I don't like too much attention to my car... think I'm getting old.

I'm looking at Honda Accord EX-V6 (roughly around this price level; ~$26,000), Subaru Legacy 2.5GT (a little too expensive), Acura TSX (i'd like a little more power)... it has to be manual or I don't want it. anyone have any other suggestions? I don't really like Camry, it's for really old people imo. I looked into Altima 3.5SE but am sketical because Nissan isn't as reliable as Honda/Acura or Toyota. Had a 02 Corolla S before and compared it to my 03 Spec V the Spec V isn't as refined as my old rolla.

my limits are 1) around $26,000 because I'm going to be upside down for 2-3G 2) mid-sized sedan (or a big interior compact sized sedan) 3) manual transmission 4) a little refined/luxury 5) very good+ reliablility. If you have any other suggestions, please help me out and let me know. thx and have a nice day! ^^

the altima v6 is a very good car, slightly altered versions of the motor and tranny are in the maxima and murano, and all cars have had good ratings for quality and reliability.

I think u might be able to get a legacy gt for 26-27k. The GT invoices at 24. So if you find a dealer willing to work with you then maybe.

The GS400 and SC400 never came in a manual version and the SC300 only came in a manual in the first couple of years of production.

What about a WRX. It has decent interior space and is considered a sedan.
