    METH-

    How accessible is the cone filter for cleaning once a CAI has been installed, regardless of brand. I see the "pocket" in the left front fender area where it will reside but do you have to disassemble everything to get to it for regular maintenance? Since the filter will be somewhat exposed it seems that a more rigorous cleaning program would be in order.

    In order to get to it, you would only need to remove two screws and one clip from the plastic covering in front of the tire. Then you can reach up, unscrew the clamp around the filter and pull it off. Putting it back on is pretty easy.. just make sure you place the filter so that the screw for the hose clamp is accessible from underneath the car, and it will go back on easily. If your car is lowered, you might wanna jack it up in order to get underneath the car more easily.

    another reason i got the short arm intake! how often should i clean my filter? every time i get my oil change or not that often?

    Once a year will be fine unless you are in extremely dusty conditions.
