Mechanical or Electrical oil pressure gauge

Which would you guys recommend, mechanical or electrical oil pressure gauge? I looked at autometer gauges and there is a significant price difference between the two. Does the price difference justify the advantage?

electreical no doubt, its better to run a wire into the car than an oil line....

I'm actually considering switching to mechanical because my electrical one keeps giving me weird and inconsistent readings.

Does an inline "automatic shut-off valve" exist for an oil pressure line so when there's a break or leak it will block the oil flow. I think in gas(propane) there is such a thing. Or maybe not?

mechanical is usually more accurate, I hear about sending units on cheaper gauges fouling up after a while. I have a mechanical autometer oil press gauge ($35), never had a problem using the cheapass nylon tubing that came with it but I put it inside a length of clear tubing (like looming elec wires) just incase.

But yea some alternatives are to use steel braded line (really expensive) or use a gauge isolator

Gauge isolator? That sounds good. Where do you get them?
